You’re looking straight across the Grose Valley toward the towering sandstone walls, with a prime angle back to the waterfall at Govetts Leap. Because you can’t drive here, it stays pleasantly quiet compared to the headline viewpoints.

Getting There

You’ll reach Barrow Lookout on foot along the Cliff Top Track, roughly 15–20 minutes south of Govetts Leap Lookout, near the junction with the Braeside Walk. Expect a fairly steep descent from Govetts Leap. There’s no road access and no dedicated parking at the lookout itself—park at Govetts Leap or Evans Lookout and walk in.

On the Ground

This is a simple, natural viewpoint set on the cliff-line. There are no toilets, water, or tables here; treat it as a scenic pause-point on a larger walk. The approach includes stairs and undulating sections that can be slippery after rain—take it steady.

• Seasons: Spring adds wildflowers along the track.
• Crowds: It’s usually calm anytime, but parking at Govetts Leap fills on weekends—arrive early if you’re starting there.
