If you only stop at one lookout on this side of the mountains, make it Govetts. The cliff‑edge platform drops your gaze straight into the Grose Valley and across to the Bridal Veil waterfall (also called Govetts Leap Falls), which plunges about 180m down the sandstone wall. The view is big, raw and cinematic—exactly what people come here for.

This lookout doubles as a springboard for great walks. The Cliff Top Track links Govetts with Evans Lookout for constant rim‑top views. You can also choose shorter strolls to nearby lookouts or tackle steeper descents if you’re up for a workout.

There’s a sealed carpark, a short, level path to the viewing area, and space to linger on benches or the grass. You’ll find picnic spots right by the lookout, and restrooms on site. It’s an easy, high‑reward stop that suits quick photo breaks and longer linger‑and‑look sessions.
