Getting There

Most people come from the Leura side via tracks near the Fairmont Resort, following signs past the pony stables and the golf course. It can also be reached via Lillians Bridge Track. The walking is generally easy to moderate with some steps, and the overall outing is short—think a compact return walk rather than a full-day mission.

How It Feels

Secluded. This lookout flies under the radar compared to headline spots, so you often get the rock shelf to yourself. It’s a lovely breather if you’re linking sections of the Grand Cliff Top Walk or just stretching the legs from Leura.

Conditions & Safety

Parts of the track can be overgrown, especially after rain, and there are unfenced cliff edges at the lookout—watch your footing and keep a close eye on kids. Expect some uneven stairs on the approach.
