Honeymoon Lake Campground sits right on the shore with about 35 unserviced, first-come, first-served sites. Expect a rustic setup: pit/vault toilets, picnic tables, and metal fire rings—no showers, no electricity, and no potable water. Self-register on arrival and bring a payment method. Because it’s small and well-loved, arrive early, especially in summer. It’s roughly 30 km from both Jasper townsite and the Columbia Icefield, so plan supplies accordingly.
Rangers report frequent bear sightings in summer around this area. Practice proper food storage and keep your distance if you see wildlife.
