Best time to visit

Dry season (May–September) is peak: facilities run smoothly, pools and evenings are bliss, and tours operate widely. Book cabins well ahead. For campers, arrive by early afternoon to snag a shaded site. Evenings are best for the poolside vibe; mornings are quiet if you want a peaceful swim before heading out.

Bathrooms and communal spaces can be spotless one day and stretched the next when it’s busy—go in with flexible expectations. Stock up on specialty groceries before arriving; Jabiru has limited options, and prices reflect the distance. Bring swim gear and insect repellent, and plan to end your day at the bistro—you’ll appreciate not having to drive for dinner.
