This is a 700-metre return walk from Ross Graham carpark to the Murchison River. Allow about 30 minutes, plus time to sit by the water. It is a good choice for a quick river-level look at the gorge; the accessible lookout near the carpark gives a much shorter view from above.

The route follows a short access path past the lookout area, then descends on a rougher trail with steps to the river pools. The final stretch is steep and can be slippery when wet. At the bottom, boulders and river red gums line the bank below layered sandstone walls. Look downstream, where the trees frame an open view along the gorge. River levels change with rainfall, so the appearance of the pools varies.
