You’ll find it on the H1‑7 in the far north, roughly midway between Shingwedzi and Punda Maria, and about 13–14 km from Sirheni. It’s an easy pull‑in from the main road, making it a natural lunch stop on long northern loops.
This isn’t about vistas; the terrain is flat. The appeal is how alive the surroundings can feel: elephants are often reported at the nearby reservoir, impala graze close by, and hornbills are regular table‑side visitors. It’s relaxed and usually less busy than southern picnic sites, which only adds to the unhurried feel.
