Adirondack Winery’s Lake George tasting room is a compact tasting bar and bottle shop on Canada Street, where the company opened its first tasting room in 2008. The guided flight samples seven wines and includes a glass to keep; you can also order wine, beer or cider by the glass, wine slushies, and separate hard-cider or American Oak whiskey flights. The range spans more than 35 wines, from dry reds and crisp whites to fruit-infused styles, with grapes sourced primarily from New York vineyards. Come for a guided introduction to the range, not a winery-production tour.

There is no dedicated parking and no public restroom at this location; free and paid street parking is nearby. Well-behaved dogs can sit with you on the outdoor patio, while indoors only service dogs are allowed. Families are welcome, with a small Kids Corner that has limited seating and toys.

The company opened here in 2008, then moved its winemaking to a larger Queensbury facility in 2011 and expanded the Lake George room. The village location is still the flagship tasting stop, but production happens elsewhere, so this is where you sample and buy bottles rather than watch wine being made.

The tasting menu also connects to Adirondack climbing culture. Extreme Heights Hard Cider launched in 2023, inspired by the Adirondack 46 High Peaks and climber Ella Pardy. It gives the cider flights a local story alongside the winery’s traditional and fruit-infused wines.
