Florida Keys Brewing Company is a locally owned microbrewery and public taproom in Islamorada’s Morada Way Arts & Cultural District, at mile marker 81.6 on the oceanside of Old Highway. Come for a tasting flight and an easy break in the beer garden; this is a good pause if you enjoy trying local beer.
The tap list includes year-round beers alongside seasonal and barrel-aged releases. A flight lets you compare a few before settling on a pint, and growler fills are another way to take a favorite along.
The outdoor beer garden sits beneath the trees, with bright picnic tables and chairs plus lawn games such as giant Jenga and cornhole. The brewery also schedules live music, so check its current calendar if you’re planning around a show.
Food is served by separate trucks in the garden rather than from an in-house kitchen. Tacos and burritos are among the current options; vendors and schedules can change, so check what’s serving if you plan to make this a meal stop.
Craig and Cheryl McBay formed the company in 2012 and opened the brewery in February 2015. Its location in Morada Way puts this tasting stop in the middle of Islamorada’s arts district as well as its local beer scene.
