Set in Resurrection Bay about 12 miles by boat from Seward, Fox Island (also known as Renard Island) is a remote, mountainous isle with forested slopes, broad pebble beaches, and fjord views. Its east side holds a glacial moraine that forms a distinct spit, and the island includes two state marine parks: Sandspit Point and Sunny Cove.
