Fuel payments are accepted via petrol/garage cards and cash; standard bank cards (Visa/MasterCard) are not accepted for fuel. The station is listed as open 24 hours, but fuel operations and specifics can change—confirm at reception when you arrive. There’s no ATM on site.

Beyond the pumps, you’ve got a small camp shop for basics (including bottled water) and communal ablutions a short walk away. There’s no full-service restaurant at Orpen, though a simple coffee option is often available. If you need banking, the nearest services are outside the park in Hoedspruit.

Orpen sits in open sweet-grass plains with scattered trees—great habitat for grazers and the predators that shadow them. Around camp you may see bushbuck by day and the occasional honey badger at night. Keep food and rubbish secured and never feed wildlife.
