Guide
Grant Village Picnic Area is a wooded picnic area near Yellowstone Lake, with 16 tables and 11 fire grates. It makes most sense as a meal break while you’re in the Grant Village area.
Bring drinking water: Madison is the park’s only picnic area with potable water. Campfires are allowed only in a provided fire grate; camp stoves and self-contained charcoal grills are also allowed. Keep food, trash, coolers and cooking tools in a bear-proof container whenever they aren’t in immediate use. Overnight camping isn’t allowed in picnic areas.
