Gull Point is a small picnic area on Yellowstone Lake, reached along Gull Point Drive, a short one-way detour near Bridge Bay Marina. If you're already driving the lakeshore, it's an easy place to pause for lunch beside the water.
The tables sit among pines, and a short walk leads down to a sandy stretch of shoreline. The shore is also used for fishing. This is a simple way to spend a little time by the lake between road stops.
There are 21 picnic tables and one vault toilet. Bring drinking water: Madison is the park's only picnic area with potable water. Keep food and garbage secured when you're not using them, and plan to camp elsewhere; overnight camping isn't allowed in picnic areas.
