Right nearby, the Province Lands Bicycle Trail (5.45‑mile loop) undulates through dunes with short spurs to Race Point Beach (0.5 mi), Herring Cove (1.1 mi), and Bennett Pond (0.25 mi). It’s an advanced‑intermediate ride with steep rollers, sharp turns, and tunnels—ride defensively and use lights in the tunnels. For a gentler stroll and good birding, the Beech Forest Trail is close by.
