A quick pull-off with outsize payoff, Oxbow Bend frames the Snake River’s sweeping oxbow with Mount Moran towering behind it. On calm days, the scene becomes a mirror—one of the park’s signature compositions and a favorite of photographers.

- Crowds: Expect the heaviest crowds late morning through early afternoon, especially on weekends and during peak fall color. Early mornings typically give you better parking and quieter vibes.
- Seasons: Beautiful year‑round, with late September to early October adding standout fall foliage.
