Getting there
Turn off the Great Ocean Road about 16 km east of Princetown at the signed Moonlight Head turnoff, then follow roughly 4.5 km of narrow, rough gravel to the small car park. A 2WD vehicle is not recommended after rain. From the car park, the lookout walk is about 800 m return and takes around 30 minutes. It is fairly flat, though uneven in places. The path is part of the Great Ocean Walk between Ryans Den and Devil’s Kitchen campsites. Treat this as a simple stop: toilet, drinking-water and food facilities weren’t established here.
