Galliott Studios is a small seasonal pottery studio and craft shop with an espresso bar in Woody Point, set in the owner's grandfather's former fishing shed on stilts over Bonne Bay. It's a brief stop to browse locally made work and get a drink or snack, not a place to build a full meal or a long visit around. The pottery draws on fishing and other local trades, giving the old working shed a connection to the community around it.
The mix is the appeal: coffee, craft browsing and a wharf at the water's edge. The wharf looks across Bonne Bay and gives you a place to watch for whales when they're passing.
