Guide
Todd Harbor Campground is a nine-site backcountry camp on Isle Royale’s north shore, off the Minong Ridge Trail. Hikers can reach it on foot, and visitors can arrive by canoe, kayak or private boat; boats may stay overnight at the dock. Choose it for a night beside a Lake Superior harbor, not as a quick road stop.
There are nine sites, five of them tent-only, plus one shelter. An overnight permit is required for stays at campgrounds and docks. Campgrounds across the park are more likely to fill from mid-June through August, so plan your overnight before you set out. The annual limit here is three nights from June 1 through Labor Day.
