About Talbot Lake

Talbot Lake is that blink-and-you’ll-miss-it roadside gem just off Highway 16—a shallow, spring-fed basin with surprisingly clear water and sandy dunes backing the south shore. It’s low-key, scenic, and often quieter than the park’s headline lakes, which makes it a great pull-off if you like fishing, paddling, or grabbing a quick viewpoint without a big time commitment.
