A remote water-access cove

Abra Cove is a remote landing beach and backcountry camping area in Aialik Bay, reached by kayak or boat. It suits a planned water trip more than a casual stop: the payoff is paddling along the cliffs at the back of the cove, where waterfalls spill toward the shore.

A small public parcel with a food-storage locker sits on the south side of the cove. Most of the surrounding land belongs to Port Graham Village Corporation; a permit is required to explore on foot or camp above the mean high tide line. The map pin doesn't grant access to the private shoreline.

Steep slopes rise directly above the beach, and avalanche danger is a real concern. Paddle along the back cliffs for the waterfall view; from the water, the cascades stand out against the rock face. Aialik Public Use Cabin is just south of the cove and is a separate reserved stop, not a facility on the public parcel.
