Cabinsite Cove is a day-use beach on Lake Mohave’s Arizona shore, about three miles north of Davis Dam. Sandy swimming beaches sit on both sides of the point, and the cove is also a launch for small boats and paddlecraft. Arrive early in summer if you want room to set up: visitors report that parking and shoreline space can fill. It’s a water stop first, with two submerged wrecks adding a draw for divers.
Reach the cove by vehicle; the route follows paved road and then a short gravel stretch. Camping is closed here, so plan it as a day visit. For a photo, put the shoreline low in the frame and let Lake Mohave and the desert ridges carry the view.
Two sunken boats make Cabinsite Point a scuba destination. The park’s dive listing marks boat traffic as prohibited at the site, while its water-trail description also names the point as a small-craft launch; the pages do not clarify where those uses meet. Check the park’s current water directions before planning a dive and a launch together.
