Guide
Lassen Crossroads is a small, outdoor information area just outside the Northwest Entrance, near Manzanita Lake. Its covered pavilions hold panels on the region's cultural history and natural features. It's a brief, self-guided primer if you want some context before entering the park.
The large lot accommodates RVs, trailers, and buses. If your group arrives in several vehicles, you can park here and carpool into the park during open hours. The lot is gated during winter snow season and outside summer hours, so don't count on it as an anytime meeting or restroom stop. The site is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible seasonal restroom.
A short trail leads from the pavilions to the park entrance sign on the south side of Highway 44. Take that walk for the recognizable entrance photo; the sign isn't at the pavilion parking area.
