Bonilla Point is a backcountry campsite on the West Coast Trail, roughly 48 km along the 75 km route on Vancouver Island’s west coast. The camp is mapped as Bonilla Creek and sits near the beach, where tent clearings reach back toward the forest. This is an overnight stop on a multi-day hike, not a drive-in campground. Nearby sea stacks and Bonilla Falls are the notable sights along this stretch.

Find Bonilla FallsThe falls are tucked against a low cliff at the forest edge, with a small pool below.

The falls are tucked against a low cliff at the forest edge, with a small pool below. They’re easy to pass if you stay on the beach, so take a look along the tree line before settling in. The shoreline and the falls give this camp a useful mix of open coast and sheltered forest.
