Arthur’s Pass EV Charging Station is a public ChargeNet site on State Highway 73 in Arthur’s Pass village, just south of the DOC visitor centre. It’s a practical top-up on the alpine crossing, not a scenic stop in its own right. Check ChargeNet’s live map or app for availability and price before relying on it; charging is paid, and both can change.
The station is listed with three connector types: 22 kW Type 2 AC, plus 50 kW DC CHAdeMO and CCS. Check that your car can use one of them before planning the stop.
Arthur’s Pass Café & Store is a separate stop across the road, with coffee and cooked food if you want a break while you’re in the village. Its hours are independent of the charger.
