Crazy Creek Campground is a 16-site campground on a bluff above Crazy Creek, at about 7,000 feet on the Wyoming side of the Beartooth Highway. It works well as an overnight break on the drive; if you came for the falls, that’s a separate stop across US 212.
The campground has vault toilets, picnic tables and bear boxes, and food storage is required. No food service is listed here, so plan meals and supplies before arrival.
A short trail to Crazy Creek Falls crosses the highway from the campground. The falls can roar with spring runoff and shrink to a trickle by late summer, so the water you see depends on when you visit.
