East Anacapa is the public-facing islet of the Anacapa trio—compact, wind‑scrubbed, and dramatic. You land at Landing Cove, climb a steel ladder from the boat, then tackle 157 stairs to reach a flat, cliff‑top plateau with sweeping ocean vistas, a 1930s lighthouse, and short, easy walking paths. It’s rugged, beautiful, and decidedly no‑frills.

This is the island for wide‑open horizons and moody seascapes.
