Rex Creek Bridge Track is a short out-and-back through lowland rainforest to a suspension bridge above cascading Rex Creek. The published distance is 1.4 km (0.87 mi) return, Grade 2, with about an hour of walking. The mapped corridor is noticeably shorter than that figure, so treat the mileage as approximate.

Take the same path backStart at the shuttle stop and follow the elevated Baral Marrjanga boardwalk.

Start at the shuttle stop and follow the elevated Baral Marrjanga boardwalk. Turn before its river lookout onto the connecting path, cross the bridge, and return the way you came. The Rainforest Circuit starts on the far side; continue only if you mean to do that separate, longer loop.

The crossingThe bridge sways gently and hangs above the creek, with clear water spilling over rocks below.

The bridge sways gently and hangs above the creek, with clear water spilling over rocks below. Look for fish and turtles in quieter pools. The boardwalk approach is wheelchair accessible with assistance, but the bridge track itself is not. Toilets and a picnic area are back at the day-use area, and domestic pets are not allowed in the national park.
