- The North Rim (and the road to Cape Royal) operates seasonally—typically open mid-May through mid-October and subject to weather or fire closures.
- Vehicle-length restrictions apply on Cape Royal Road (no long RV/trailer combos), and there’s little shade along the path. Bring water; there are no services at the overlook itself.
