Trail guide
Lemonade Creek Track is a 4.0 km one-way walk from Blanket Leaf Picnic Area to Erskine Falls Car Park. Allow about 1.5 hours and arrange a pickup or a vehicle at each end; this isn't an out-and-back. It is an easy-to-moderate forest walk. The mapped path is about a metre wide, surfaced with fine gravel and crossed by several short bridges. A sampled elevation profile rises and dips between 322 and 448 m, with roughly 170 m of cumulative climbing. The walk ends at the car park, not the falls lookout; a separate track with more than 270 steps continues to the viewing point.
Start at Blanket Leaf Picnic Area and finish at Erskine Falls Car Park, so sort out the return before you set off. Blanket Leaf has a basic restroom, picnic tables, shelter and fireplaces; those facilities are at the start, not along the track. No food outlet or drinking-water point was confirmed. Dogs are not permitted on national-park roads, tracks or trails in the Lorne area.
The route passes through lush wet forest beneath eucalypts and ferns. A 2021 naturalist walk recorded rough coprosma with red berries, flowering stinkwood, banyalla with red fruit capsules and white elderberry. The group also heard several forest birds and saw a koala about 50 m from the track. Treat those as examples of what lives here, not guaranteed sightings; the flowers and berries were observations from that particular visit.
