Guide
Oasis Campground is a privately operated overnight campground just outside the entrance to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Its 90 sites span tent camping, RV spaces and cabins, making it a practical base if you want to stay close to the dunes.
The operator lists 20 level pull-through RV sites with 30/50-amp power, water and sewer hookups, plus a central dump station. Tent sites and cabins round out the options. RV and cabin bookings are handled by phone with 48 hours' notice; tent sites are first-come, first-served. Pets are allowed at tent sites but not in cabins.
Campground services include restrooms, showers and laundry, with a restaurant and store on the property. Plan for the April–October camping season and confirm current dates when booking.
Campers often mention views toward the dunes from cabins and parts of the RV area. Some RV end-site views are crossed by utility poles, so ask about the sightline if it matters to you.
