Elephants Head RV Park & Gros Morne Glamping is a private campground in Trout River, set on a bluff above town. It’s a base for exploring nearby Gros Morne highlights, with forested hills and mountain ridges in view from the property. Stay here if you want that landscape at camp, along with a choice of RV, tent, and glamping accommodations.
Full-hookup and unserviced RV spaces sit alongside tent sites, glamping domes, and A-frame huts. The campground has a cookhouse and lounge, a comfort station with hot showers, laundry, potable water, Wi-Fi, fire pits, and a children’s play area. Short walking paths around the property give you room to stretch your legs without leaving camp.
Coastal Crafts is an on-site craft and convenience shop for locally made gifts and everyday supplies. Guest extras include charcuterie boards and fondue, but there isn’t a regular restaurant menu, so plan meals separately. It runs seasonally; confirm opening dates with the operator before arranging a stay.
