Indian Cove Ranger Station is a small National Park Service information stop for the Indian Cove section of Joshua Tree. If you're headed to the campground, stop here for maps, questions and the bottle-and-jug filling station; the campground is about two miles south. It's a useful service stop, not an attraction that needs a long visit.
The station has a bottle and jug filling point, and the campground itself has no water at individual campsites. There is a small parking area, so this is an easy place to pause before continuing down Indian Cove Road.
A low tan building sits in an open desert setting with rocky hills behind it. A small picnic area, emergency phone and two vault toilets are beside the lot, including one designated accessible restroom. Ranger station hours vary with staffing, so check ahead if you need to speak with a ranger or use a staffed service.
