Parking on the approach

SINAC says the park has no official parking area; nearby lots are private. The approach can be confusing: visitors report unsolicited directions to private parking or offers of guides before the gate. Decide where you intend to park before pulling over, and don’t assume a business using “Official Parking” in its name is government-run.

Trails lead through tropical wet forest toward the beaches of Manuel Antonio, Espadilla Sur and Puerto Escondido, with mangroves and a lagoon elsewhere in the park.
