The tent campground and RV park sit along the Sol Duc River, 12 miles up Sol Duc Hot Springs Road from US 101. This is a practical base for the falls trail and nearby resort, with two different camping experiences: tent loops and walk-in sites under old-growth trees, and an adjoining, more open gravel RV court.

Choosing a siteThe tent campground has two loops and a walk-in area; some sites sit right by the river.

The tent campground has two loops and a walk-in area; some sites sit right by the river. The RV court has 17 back-in spaces and offers water and 50-amp power, but it is a gravel lot with tight maneuvering and little privacy. Restrooms are in the main campground, about a quarter mile away, so RV campers should plan for that walk.

Trails, pools and foodTrails leave from the property, including a 1.

Trails leave from the property, including a 1.6-mile round-trip hike to Sol Duc Falls from the resort. The hot-springs pools are nearby, but admission is separate from camping. The adjacent resort lodge has a restaurant and gift shop; those are resort facilities, not campground services.
