Quick History
The ranch house dates to around 1885 and is the only original ranch house remaining in the South Unit. Several buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The site operated for years as a dude ranch offering trail rides, but those rides ceased in 2014. The National Park Service has explored future uses for the property, but there’s no active concession here today.

Tips for the Terrain
