Fire Weather Watch for the park area
Prepare for critical fire-weather conditions in Theodore Roosevelt National Park from Thursday afternoon through early Thursday evening. - The National Weather Service issued the watch because warm, breezy conditions, relative humidity of 12–20%, and abundant dry vegetation are expected; west winds are forecast at 15–20 mph with gusts around 30 mph. - Any fires that develop may spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. - Listen for later updates and a possible upgrade to a Red Flag Warning. Check current park conditions before traveling.
