Overview
Crane Flat Gas Station is Yosemite's service station and general store at the junction of Big Oak Flat Road and Tioga Road, serving the park's northern end. It's a practical place to fuel up or pick up basics, not a scenic stop by itself. From Yosemite Valley, it's about 16 miles and roughly a 30-minute drive.

Guide
The pumps offer unleaded and diesel fuel and are listed as available for pay-at-pump around the clock, year-round. The seasonal store carries groceries and convenience items, ice, books, maps, clothing and souvenirs. It generally operates from spring through fall, so don't count on the store being open whenever the pumps are.
Crane Flat is reachable by car year-round, though tire chains can be required from October through April. Summer bus services also stop here, including YARTS and the Tuolumne Meadows Hikers' Bus, for a fee. This is a handy supply stop on the way toward Tioga Road; the nearby giant sequoia groves are separate destinations reached on foot.
