Frazer Point Picnic Area is a grassy picnic ground on the shore of Acadia’s Schoodic Peninsula, just before the Schoodic Loop Road becomes one-way. The open lawn, picnic tables, and short wooden dock make it an easy place to pause, fish, or eat before the six-mile drive around the peninsula. Think of it as a relaxed shoreline stop rather than a trail hike.

The small dock projects into the cove for fishing and a closer look at the water, while the grassy picnic field sits just behind it. The wider Schoodic coast has islands, coves, and rocky shorelines, giving this stop a coastal view without leaving the picnic area. The dock can be unstable in larger waves, so take care when using it.
