Parking
There is no dedicated lot at either connector junction. Reach the Hemlock Path end on the connected footpaths from Sieur de Monts Nature Center and its parking area; that lot has limited summer parking, especially from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Trail guide
Hemlock Trail is a 0.5-mile, one-way connector through forest between Hemlock Path and Gorge Path. It crosses the Dorr Mountain North Ridge and Kebo Mountain trail junctions, so it works best as part of a longer walk rather than as a loop on its own.
The path runs west from Hemlock Path toward the higher Gorge Path end on a natural ground tread. Allow about 20–30 minutes one way. The official half-mile is close to the mapped route’s 0.44 miles; the much shorter Hemlock segment mentioned on some loop directions covers only the east portion to the Dorr North Ridge junction.
From the Hemlock Path end, follow the connected paths in from the Sieur de Monts area. At Gorge Path, continue into the Dorr and Kebo network, or retrace the half-mile for about a mile total. This is separate from the nearby Jesup Path and Hemlock Path loop, whose boardwalk is not the tread on Hemlock Trail. Pets are allowed; keep them on a leash no longer than six feet.
