There are flush toilets, coin-operated showers, laundry, potable water and a dump station. The village store is a short walk for supplies and ice; Wi-Fi is available there, while cell service doesn’t reach Rio Grande Village. Campfires aren’t allowed, but charcoal grills are provided.
Visitors value the hookups and convenience, but many describe tight rows with little privacy or room to relax outside. This low-elevation corner of the park gets intensely hot from April through September, with daytime highs sometimes exceeding 100°F. It’s a practical base for an RV trip, not the choice for a quiet, secluded campsite.
