Water and facilities
A non-flush toilet is provided, but no water is supplied. Hikers have reported natural water nearby, but it can be stagnant or dry up. Plan as if there’s no dependable water source at camp.

Guide
Mobbs Swamp campground is a remote campsite in the Southern Blue Mountains, known as an overnight stop on the Kanangra to Katoomba (K2K) walk. It suits experienced backcountry walkers planning that demanding route; it isn’t a drive-up camping option.
The most popular route comes in from Green Gully: 12 km on foot, about four hours, via Mitchells Creek Fire Trail. There’s no vehicle access. The K2K is demanding, and the footpad can be faint in places. Bookings aren’t required. Before setting out, leave a trip intention form with an emergency contact; a free personal locator beacon can be borrowed from Blue Mountains Heritage Centre in Blackheath.
