Glenmore Visitor Centre is a forest information hub at Glenmore, paired with Allt Mor Café. It is a useful first stop if you want help choosing a walk or finding out what is nearby; if your route is already settled, the café or the small exhibition are the main reasons to go inside.
The centre provides information about local forest walks, and a map or route leaflet can help you choose a path before setting out. Ask about the options that fit your time and energy, then head into Glenmore Forest. This is a practical place to get oriented, rather than a destination that needs a long visit on its own.
The visitor centre was developed from outbuildings of the former Glenmore Lodge by the Forestry Commission. In November 2024, Aviemore and Glenmore Community Trust took ownership of the centre and café through a community asset transfer, giving this forest-information stop a local community role as well as a visitor one.
