Glenmore Campsite

Glenmore Campsite is a large, developed campground in Glenmore Forest beside Loch Morlich. It takes tents, caravans, motorhomes, campervans and trailer tents. The pitches range from wooded spots to more open ground, and the main reason to stay is the short walk through the trees to the loch’s sandy shore.

Walk through the treeline to Loch Morlich’s beach for time by the water, swimming or paddling. The campsite also makes a practical base for nearby forest walks and cycling. From the shore, look across the loch toward the surrounding pines and Cairngorm hills.

There are grass and hardstanding pitches, with electric hook-up available. Some areas are among the trees while others feel more open. A few visitors have found that pitches listed as grass can be sandy, so check the surface when booking if firm ground matters to you, especially in wet weather.
