Dog Creek Falls is a small waterfall beside Washington Route 14, between Dog Mountain and Cook Hill. Dog Creek drops about 30 feet into a pool and has cut a small canyon through the basalt. It is one of the few falls visible from the highway, making this an easy stop on a Gorge drive or a cool-down after a nearby Dog Mountain or Augspurger Mountain hike.

A small signed gravel pullout at milepost 55 leads to a very short path and a view of the falls. The dark canyon walls frame the white drop, with the pool and creek below. From the viewpoint, include the walls and water around the cascade to show its scale. This is a brief waterfall stop, not a trail outing; choose it for a close look at the falls rather than a longer hike.
