Pacific Creek Landing is a developed boat landing on the Snake River, set up for launching and taking out. It’s the take-out for the five-mile float from Jackson Lake Dam. That upstream stretch is classified as beginner, but the current where you meet the landing is swift; the next ten miles toward Deadmans Bar are faster, braided and more involved. Use this as your take-out before continuing downstream unless you’re prepared for the harder route-finding.

Water at the landing itself is swift, so scout before launching or pulling in. The Snake moves through channels that change, and logjams make it worth checking the current river map before you go. Flow changes too, so check the latest conditions when you plan the float.
