Start from the shared Peyto Lake and Bow Summit parking area. The path passes the popular Peyto platform, then follows an old fire road through thinning forest and open alpine ground to the higher viewpoint. Parks Canada calls the route easy, but allow the listed 2.5 hours and plan for a sustained climb. The barrier-free access is to the separate Peyto platform, not this longer walk. Parkway services are limited, so bring water and food; Parks Canada warns that lots can fill early in summer and remain full, so keep a backup stop in mind.
