Immervoulin Caravan & Camping Park is a family-run campsite just south of Strathyre, on the A84 beside the River Balvaig. It has hardstanding touring pitches with electric hook-ups and a level tent field, so it suits caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents, and ordinary tents. Keep it in mind as a practical base for the central Trossachs, especially if you want river access and mountain scenery without committing to a remote site.

The river is the point: you can fish from its bank, and a small jetty gives kayaks and canoes access to the water. A walk of about a mile heads through designated protected land at the end of the park towards Loch Lubnaig. The setting also works for walking and cycling, with longer routes nearby. The tradeoff is that this is a straightforward campsite rather than a polished resort. Visitor reports regularly praise the quiet pitches, river, and views, but some describe the facilities as basic or unevenly maintained.

There are toilets, showers, a wash-up area, laundry, and a small shop with groceries, snacks, sweets, basic supplies, and local gifts. Dogs must stay on lead outside the van; the dog walk at the end of the park is the off-lead exception. Access is directly from the A84, just south of Strathyre. If your priority is a big view and a walk out of the gate, this earns its place. If you want a full-service holiday park, look elsewhere.
