Mirador Lago Pehoé is an easy-to-reach lookout on the lake’s eastern shore, with a broad view across the water toward the Paine peaks. I’d pull in for this one if you want the island, lake and mountains together without taking on the separate west-shore hike.
Hostería Pehoé’s island and narrow footbridge sit in the lake below the mountain skyline, while the road curves around the shore. Include the bridge and island in a landscape photo; they give the wide mountain view a clear foreground.
This is the eastern roadside stop, not the similarly named Mirador Pehoé hiking viewpoint on the western side. Parking is mapped beside the lookout. The Pehoé Camping Area is about 1 km away, a separate stop from the viewpoint.
