Seasonal Trail Closures for Extreme Heat

Valley of Fire State Park closes several trails from May 15 through September 30 because of extreme heat and rescue safety concerns. Closed areas include White Domes Loop; Fire Wave / Seven Wonders Loop / Pastel Canyon / Pink Canyon; Pinnacles Loop; Prospect Trail; Arrowhead Trail; Natural Arch Trail (except Arch Rock); and Charlie’s Spring.
