Wieners of Waterton is a seasonal, quick-service hot-dog restaurant in the Waterton townsite, an easy casual meal stop between park outings. The Local Smokie is a handmade smoked sausage crafted just outside town. Build your dog with toppings like slaw, sauerkraut, ginger carrot, peppers, onions and house sauces; the Anti-Dog is a housemade falafel option with hummus and tzatziki. Sweet-potato fries are a visitor favorite, and Canadian poutine comes with squeaky cheese and gravy.
Expect counter ordering and takeout, with outdoor seating. The ordering area is compact and can get busy, so leave a little slack if you're fitting lunch between activities.
